Freelance Journalist | Environmental Storyteller | Humanitarian Youth Leader

I am a freelance journalist under contract with YOHANNAN, currently engaged in both Phase 1 and Phase 2 of our project, telling the real stories of motherhood and human dignity in rural areas through interviews, fieldwork, and storytelling. I interview mothers, gather visual and audio documentation, and write articles grounded in truth, equity, and empathy.
My most recent article, “Carrying More Than Life: Four Mothers, One Struggle for Equity and Care,” was published last June and explores the lived realities of four rural mothers navigating maternal healthcare gaps and economic hardship.

Beyond journalism, I serve as the President of the Red Cross Youth at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP), leading humanitarian initiatives, disaster response activities, and youth volunteer mobilization.
I’m also an environmental journalist with the Association of Young Environmental Journalists (AYEJ), where I help tell youth-led stories on climate, sustainability, and grassroots action.
At the heart of all I do is my faith. I believe in working with excellence, integrity, and compassion — because everything I do, I do for the Lord.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.” – Colossians 3:23
